Verified ReviewerDouble charge
Hi I was at the Albany heritage mall store and I was double charged and I have contacted both the store and costumer service and know body has been able to help me. I have proof of my receipt and I told the at the time of purchase that my bank was double charged and they said on there side it only shows one.
I contacted my bank and they show I have two charges of $135. I have been treated very unfairly by the manager of the Albany branch I am a frequent customer and just was very upset by my experience and the lack of help by both the manager and costumer service.
I am just trying to get one of the charges solved. I am willing to send proof of purchase and all time stamps of calls made.
Thank you

Uncomfortable Shopping Experience
This shopping experience, I felt so uncomfortable. I was followed from the time I stepped in the door at Famous Footwear in Stafford, Va until I realized what the salesperson was doing, then I started following HER.
Every time I would get close to her she would move. Her energy changed real quick, move around trainee Karen. Not every African- American female with braids is trying to break the law by stealing. All of this RACIAL PROFILING is for the birds.
I work hard everyday for the things I have and would say I make a pretty decent living. I will be reaching out to corporate on this situation so in the future it doesn't happen to another female of my skin color.

I ran to the Famous Footwear located at 6401 W Tucson Premium Outlets, Marana Center Blvd, Suite# 837, Tucson, AZ 85742 because I had to return some shoes I purchased from Famous Footwear online and hopefully find another pair, since mine had recently torn. After working since 6 A.M., I looked down at the clock and I realized they would be closing soon and ran out the door and figured I would have to finish when I got home. I made it with just over 20 minutes to spare before they closed on Christmas Eve, which should have been plenty of time to find a new pair. IF I would have been able to do my shopping in peace without being harassed and attacked by the manager, Joanna, and another associate, Drea.
When I walked in, it was 5:38 pm (I know this because I had just hung up with my husband who was re-parking) and was standing in line to see if I needed to or was allowed to leave my bags at the front. I was waiting patiently when the manager comes scurrying over from the back and very confrontationally says to me, We close in ten minutes. You know, we would like to get home to our families after working 13 hours and having to cater to you people all day. I told her that I just needed to return an order I placed online really quickly and try and find another pair because mine had broken and were about to be unwearable. She then reiterated her previous statement and very rudely informed me again that they had families that they would like to get home to and that I had 10 minutes, so I better make it quick and to go ahead and leave the bags.
I looked at the time since I still had my phone in my hand, it was 5:40.
I placed my bags down upfront behind the counter and headed over to the clearance real quick to hopefully expedite my search. With the manager close behind, I started looking at some shoes. I realize that the manager is uncomfortably close to me and was seeming to be very interested in what I was looking at when she asks me through gritted teeth with her seething tone, Can I help you find something?? What size do you need or what are you looking for so we can get you out of here quicker and we can go home to our families. Mind you, she is so close to me that if I were to have bent over without moving first, I have no doubt her head would have literally been up my rear. I politely said no, thank you. I dont need any help and was hoping she would go away and leave me to find some shoes in peace. No such luck of course because she was still right on my heels, no matter what move I made, with her commentary, all while hovering, being nasty, rude and unprofessional.
As if the holidays werent hard enough for me this year, after about the fifth time of her stating that she had to work 13 hours that day catering to you people and the fact that they wanted to go be with their families (which I took offense to because of the tone she she had while making the statement and the attitude she had while doing so), I finally had enough of the hostility and her verbal attacks and unprovoked aggressive behavior. I said, You know, for someone who works in a retail field it might do you some good to try and put yourself in other peoples shoes and realize that youre not the only person who worked all day today, as a matter of fact I still have to go home and finish working. Furthermore, not all of us are as fortunate as you to have family to spend the holidays with. I lost my mom earlier this year and now I dont get to go see my family, which has been extra hard on me as well. So before you start attacking people and making assumptions, you might benefit from thinking about that for a second.
Without skipping a beat she starts in on me again. This time speaking more loudly that it wasnt her problem that my mom died or that I dont get to see my family and it wasnt her fault that I had to go finish working but I needed to hurry up so they could go be with their families. She was still practically yelling at me when I interrupted her hateful yammering and said, Well if you would leave me the *** alone I could actually look at shoes really quick and get out of here so you can go do that.
At this point Drea, the other rude associate, comes over and now theyre both yelling at me and Drea finishes up her verbal assault with, and maybe you should do what your shirt says. I was wearing an *** live Forever hoodie that says Dont be a *** I stood up and turned around to face both of them at this point and said, you know what sweetheart, Ive got news for you. The only people who need to follow what this says (pointing at my hoodie) are the two of you (pointing at them). Id have probably been out of here already if I didnt have someone up my *** the whole time. I paused for a breath and they started in again.
At this point Im about in tears and go around the aisle so I can get away from these two awful humans to return to the front and advised the associate that since I am evidently not allowed to shop there that I just needed to return my online purchase so I could get out of there. She briefly started to be *** with me too but when the manager came and started in on me again, her attitude changed and had a much kinder and softer tone. I asked her what her managers name was and before she could answer me the manager was directly next to me and she said my name is Joanna, as she pulls out her cellphone and takes a picture of my return slip, which contained all of my personal information.
I asked what the *** she thought she was doing and informed her that she had no business taking a picture of my account information and asked her what she could possibly need it for anyway. She said she needed it so she could warn her manager that I would be calling to complain and wanted to make sure she knew that I had been yelling at her and calling her names. I exclaimed that I did not once call her any names and she knew damn good and well that I hadnt done any any such thing and had no business taking a picture of my information and that she needed to delete it. She tells me that it was her phone and she could do whatever she wanted with it and I told her that no, she couldnt and advised her once again that she better delete it or I would call the police and she said to go ahead, that she would call security then and that she could get the information another way anyway (which I will be filling a police report about by the way).
I sort of laughed and again advised her that I hadnt called her any names, that they were the ones attacking me and calling me names and yelling at me when all I was trying to do was return my online purchase and hopefully buy a new pair. The other associate started in on me again and I told her she needed to mind her own damn business because she didnt even know what she was talking about. I said I walked in and she immediately started in on me, for no reason. Drea then tells me that I should have been the bigger person and rise above it and walked off.
At this point, my husband comes walking in and the manager, also very rudely informed him that the store was closing in ten minutes (funny because it had been closing in ten minutes for almost 15 minutes now) he advised he was with me and she snapped back, Yeah, I figured as much. It was 5:45 P.M.
Now Im standing there, eyes welled up in tears and he with his phone in his hand looks at me and apologized for taking so long and explained that I kept calling him and he had kind of a smile on his face. I pulled out my phone and looked at it and saw we were on a call and apologized because I didnt mean to call him and I didnt realize I had pocket dialed him. He said that it was ok and that he was glad I did because he heard everything. Everything? I asked and he nodded his head and put an arm around me.
Everyone who entered the store after me, except my husband, was addressed politely. No one else was harassed, verbally attacked or treated in the horrific manner that I had been treated. Every single person besides us that came in was left to do their shopping in peace. I can assure you that I will never shop at this store again and am truly appalled at the horrific attitudes and unprofessionalism that almost every single employee that I encountered at this location exhibited (Joanna, Drea and one male whose name I did not get), with the exception of Mariah who was the associate that helped me do my return and was sure to give me the return slip (which I assume was to make sure her manager didnt take it). When we got to our vehicle, it was 5:50. NOW they would be closing in 10 minutes.
Respectfully,
Jenna Cook
